A Retroactive Holiday Greeting,

Image
Hello again Reader, Christmas came and went, and I hope you all had an amazing time. Hope you all got some good presents or bought some for others yourself. I for one got a Christmas tree coffee mug and some clothes from my girlfriend, and a pair of Christmas themed pajamas I’m currently wearing and will wear even when the season is over from my stepmom. Both cup and pajamas are as tacky as you can imagine (love it). The past week has been nothing but running from point A to Z with each letter in between as a pit stop. I moved back north on Saturday (got my deposit back, yay!), and since I’ve had my hands so full that I’ve only managed to squeeze out an hour or so of writing a day. Book three is advancing, though, and I think the stress of going about and letting my mind rest from writing has helped in advancing the story. As I’ve said before, book three is going to be shorter than two, more condensed, and though the arc will seem to have little to do with the grand scheme ...

Christmas Is Coming, And I'm Leaving (Home)

Courtesy of my shitty Gimp skills   Hello again Reader, Slam the brakes! How is December going by so fast? Just yesterday was the first of the month, and now you’re telling me that we’re already two weeks in, chestnuts roasting on an open fire and all. Impossible. I’ve lived here for three and a half years, give or take, and though I’ve been eagerly waiting for the move, it just doesn’t feel real now that it’s so close. I only have one more week here in this 20 square meter cell with the loft I sleep in. One more week of solitude. One more week of the life I built here, then, never again. I’ve no intentions to move back this far south, so the day I leave is the day I leave. Sure, I’ll have to ...

A Holly Jolly Festive Mood

Hello again Reader, It’s December! Lets go! And to celebrate November finally ending and the season of Saint Nick beginning, my body decided to crash out! I’ve been suffering from a heavy fatigue since Monday, and I’ve no idea what the root cause could be. I’ve gone to school and the gym and done all the things I need to do in a day, teeth clenched if need be, barely awake, and I’ve finally managed to get to the weekend. I write this now with bleary and dark eyes as I sit in my bathrobe with a Moomin  cup half full of lukewarm coffee  beside me. One of many I’ll drink today. Though I’ve slept nine hours undisturbed, I feel as though I’ve been up for days. Though my screen is at almost minimum brightness and my MS Word is in dark mode, my eyes ache as I draft this post. I’ve not put up any new chapters. I’ve not had the time nor the energy to go through them with the care I want to show and which they deserve. This is a one man show sadly, and the titular one man isn't i...
