A Holly Jolly Festive Mood

Hello again Reader,
It’s December! Lets go! And to celebrate November finally ending and the season of Saint Nick beginning, my body decided to crash out! I’ve been suffering from a heavy fatigue since Monday, and I’ve no idea what the root cause could be. I’ve gone to school and the gym and done all the things I need to do in a day, teeth clenched if need be, barely awake, and I’ve finally managed to get to the weekend.
I write this now with bleary and dark eyes as I sit in my bathrobe with a Moomin cup half full of lukewarm coffee beside me. One of many I’ll drink today. Though I’ve slept nine hours undisturbed, I feel as though I’ve been up for days. Though my screen is at almost minimum brightness and my MS Word is in dark mode, my eyes ache as I draft this post.
I’ve not put up any new chapters. I’ve not had the time nor the energy to go through them with the care I want to show and which they deserve. This is a one man show sadly, and the titular one man isn't in best shape. Book 3 progresses steadily, but due to the fatigue, in the past five days combined I’ve not been able to match my usual daily output when healthy. To give a concrete example, I usually manage about 800-1200 words a day. But from Monday to today, I’ve a combined total of 896. (If we don’t count this post).
I don’t exaggerate when I say that on some of those days I’ve just watched the screen and reread one simple sentence, unable to figure out what’s wrong with it. Words per minute… hah, more like words per hour.
I’m sorry for keeping this post short. But holding focus is quite the ordeal at the moment.
Thank you for reading. I’ll see you next Saturday. (Fingers crossed I’ll be in better shape by then.)
