February Finale
Hello again Reader,
It is Saturday once more, and it’s the last day of the month! I only have a week or so, (give or take depending on the schedules. Most likely give), before I go back home to see my lovely girlfriend (whom I miss dearly), and to the peace and quiet of solid, non-rocking earth. And, of course, nights of sleep that are more than 7 to 7,5 hours long. I plan on taking my lovely miss to some fancy place and have some good food, then surprise her with some souvenirs I got during my quick trips ashore. (I hope she ain’t reading this specific post).
Also, last night I saw the 22° halo around the Moon, (perks of working at sea), but my potato camera couldn't capture it for it was too faint. Image for reference:

You’ve book three, and I’m taking a creative pause from The Chronologies to rewrite the little story I spoke about last time. I’ve forgotten just how fun the rewriting progress is! A magical clarity smacks you in the face and I find myself explaining and describing things in far better detail on the second go. One thing, contrary to my complaining, that has affected positively with my imagination is my sleep.
How does too little or worse sleep better your imagination? You ask.
I have no fucking clue. But, I must say, my dreams during the nights and my nappy time during the day are so damn vivid and lucid that I can’t help but feel energized from experiencing them. (Once I’d a dream so vivid I could swear it was an out-of-body experience, but more on that another time). For I truly believe dreams are something we experience, not something we do ourselves. See C.G Jung and Marie-Louise von Franz for far better analyses on the topic of dreams, dreaming and the unconscious in general.
Also, I’ve been really going ham on the podcast Creative Codex by MJ Dorian for the past six months. If you really want to get inspired through the amazing stories and works of big names in recent history, go listen to his episodes. Some of my favorites include all the episodes on Jung, the episode on H.R. Giger, on Nicola Tesla, and on William Blake. They are all great listens. Very immersive and creative in themselves, with comedic parody ads sometimes sprinkled in. I think some of his more recent stuff is behind a Patreon paywall, so if you want to get the newest stuff here’s a link.
This has just been a riff on my part. I’m honestly quite tired day in day out, and Saturdays come so fast I’ve no time to plan in advance what I write about, so I apologize if these posts are on the brief side. Hence the link to Creative Codex.
Fret not, however. I’ll be returning to the Chronologies shortly, and the surprise I mentioned a couple times ways ago back in… well, late fall early winter, is progressing and is presently in a conceptual state. Furthermore, I’ll be working on a bio page so we could get better introduced; something I’ve also promised to do far earlier. But, oh well, life gets in the way.
I’ll also be moving the chapters of book three to the table of contents shortly. And if you’re not reading this on a Saturday, it means I’ve not the internet to post.
Thank you, once again, for reading.
I’ll see you next Saturday, most likely, but not definitely, from home.
