3 Years To 30
Hello again, Reader,
May is ending! I turned 27 on the 27th and had an amazing birthday all things considered. The cook made a delicious Biscoff cheesecake and I had my guilty-pleasure food for dinner. (Mac and Cheese!) Also, an officer and the 8-12 watch, (both my age), made me a horrendous AI slop image using an old army photo of mine for a birthday card. It was hilarious and my heart was warmed from the thought they put into it. Even though I don’t condone use of AI in creative endeavors, I do give a pass for gag-gifts such as this.
Also, by next week’s post I’ll (hopefully) be home. Original crew change day was second of June, but due to delays and scheduling issues we’ll have change on either the 5th or 6th, which means, if the former and not the latter, come next Saturday I’ll be posting from the comfort of home.
And MAN am I in need of a holiday, a very long holiday, as a certain Hobbit once said. And to paraphrase him another time, after six weeks, (and a few days when I finally leave), of being on board, I do feel like butter scraped on too much bread.
Regarding the Chronologies, Book Five is bursting forth as dazzling images in my mind and it looks like my little break is coming to an end sooner than expected. To give a sneak peek (avoiding spoilers of course), things will happen, and characters will do things!
OH WOW HOW INSANE, who’d a thunk it?!
Also, how’d you like the art I commissioned? I love it and I’m also looking to commission more in the future from different artists! I love seeing different interpretations of the same thing, and if you’re an artist, please, don’t shy away from using my writings as inspiration. Or just hit me up!
Well, that’s it for now. I had another long rambling planned for today, but I can’t get my thoughts into appropriately articulated lines.
Yet.
Thank you, dear Reader, for stopping by and remember to download the Chronologies for FREE! You are also free to spread it around to friends and family! (Out of context that line sounds unintentionally malicious).
Anyways, I’m off to scratch down my onrushing thoughts.
I’ll see you next Saturday!
