Hello 2026

Hello again Reader,
Festivities are done; thank God. Also, other things are done as well! I’ve completed book three of the Limbo Chronologies! I’m giving you the raw final three chapters of book two, then take a week break from posting chapters again to iron out the worst of my typos in book three.
Speaking of releasing chapters, I’m sorry I’ve not gotten the final three of book two out for you earlier this week. I hate to use this card, but I’ve been sick once again. It’s been a theme for three years now, that either the day after Boxing day at the earliest or New Years Eve at the latest, I get hit by the seasonal flu. And man, did it hit me good this time. As I write, I’m still sick. Not as bad as previous years, but still. I’m in the breathing through my nose feels like I’m sniffing battery acid phase; not pleasant. But a Christmas miracle: I finished the first draft of book three, nevertheless.
The party is off to the (significantly lowered) waters of the Mediterranean Gulf toward Roma Prima. If I ever get around drawing or commissioning a drawing of a map then you’ll understand why it’s called a Gulf and not a Sea anymore.
Will we get more answers on the mysterious Growers, the Chronologists, or the origins of Hound?
Answer: No. Or maybe. You’ll have to read it to find out.
To be honest, as of now, with the Chronologies in their first draft, the story isn’t as concise as I’d like. It’s a part of the process which I’m sharing with you. It’s the story as it comes the way I see it. Only after it’s been lain down from start to finish will I know what to tweak and what to fix. For now, it is in the unique position of being shit with the potential of being transmuted into gold, as every creative thing on earth. Nothing starts out perfect, and you need to get a little dirty as you make things clean.
Resolutions,
My new years resolutions are not as action oriented as most often they tend to be. I’ve resolved that I’ll be more mindful of my thoughts, and my words. Why? You ask. Well, because thoughts transform into words, words into actions, and actions into habits. And man do I have bad habits. So, to fix them, or at least substitute them with better ones, I need to reverse engineer my actions into their triggering thoughts, and tinker around or overhaul them to make them work for me, not against.(See Atomic Habits).
Considering the Chronologies, I resolve to have at LEAST the next two books following the third out before the end of this year. Perhaps even begin the second draft.
Also, as all authors and writers, I resolve to write more. I want to take every advantage I have now that I don’t have school full time, and only my thesis looms in the distance as a dark foreboding shadow. That, and once I get a contract, I’ll be most likely six weeks working, six weeks on leave. (I work at sea lest you forget). So, when I’m at sea, I hope to have chapters to publish for you.
Also also, I resolve to up my Latin study game. And yes, if you’re wondering, your boy studies Latin on his off time. More on that another day!s
Anyways, thank you, once again for reading. Go enjoy the rest of book two, and I’ll be coming back at you next week. If I’ve not disappeared onto an oil tanker by then.
