New Chapter!

Hello, dear Reader,

I won’t take up too much of your time today! I bring you 5-2, titled: Omen.

I teased a little about what will happen in book five in last week’s post, but you ain’t seeing any of that yet.

5-2 is a downtime chapter, and 5-3, the title of which I shan’t spoil, will properly kickstart this next adventure in a series of unexpected encounters. I kinda wanna release the unfinished 5-3 because in its ending I introduce someone who’ve you’ve heard mentioned before, though only by number, and who you’ve seen only at a glance. (Hint, see 4-5, Fury Gorge.)

But that’s for next week!

The chapters themselves I’ve been writing at a furious, and at times languid, pace, and the story just melds together in my mind so I am constantly jumping back and forth between chapters cutting and editing to make the story good. Hence why 5-2 is out and I’m sitting on 5-3, while working on 5-4 and 5-3 simultaneously.

Also, I hoped you liked 5-1.

I know it came out of left field. Who is Bee? Who is Hildi? What the hell was that thing that claimed to be an angel that whisked them off?

You’ll get your answers, hold your cyber-equines.

Everything has its place and everything that has been introduced so far has a purpose.

Also, in answer to the fans of our murderous bot Five-One, if you’re curious as to where the assassin and the wraith are…

And with that we’re done! I’ve nothing interesting happening in my life at the moment, but I’ll try and give you something more than a writing update next week.

Christmas Is Coming, And I'm Leaving (Home)

Just yesterday was the first of the month, and now you’re telling me that we’re already two weeks in, chestnuts roasting on an open fire and all. Impossible. Compared to the November marathon this has been a speedrun. In just one more week I’ll be moving back up north! I can’t quite process the fact that in just seven days I’ll be sitting in the car with my dad with a trailer filled with my things, driving up eight hours back to my hometown. I’ve lived here for three and a half years, give or take, and though I’ve been eagerly waiting for the move, it just doesn’t feel real now that it’s so close. I only have one more week here in this 20 square meter cell with the loft I sleep in. One more week of solitude. One more week of the life I built here, then, never again. Consistency

Hello, reader. September is coming to an end and soon the spooky month, (October), begins. I must admit that from all the twelve months in the year, the tenth is one of my favorites. The air is perfectly crisp and cool, the wind in the trees is loud and biting, and the leaves begin their fiery withering before gently tumbling to the ground. That, and it’s dark, and people tend to go out less late in the evening, leaving the parks and city streets bare, wet, and cold. Leaving it all to me. Also, if you’ve noticed, Chapter three is out! It might take some time before chapter four is ready, seeing as I have simulation training starting next week, (Long days from eight to four), so I won’t have much time between thesis work and all the things I need to do (gym etc.).
